Still around here...somewhere

Still alive...school is killing me...slowly!

Spring Break was awesome! Went to Texas for the first half and then to Seattle for the second half. Texas was nice, good weather and relaxing. Seattle was great. Sushi at a really cool sushi bar, walking around the campus of University of Washington, seeing the mountains, Pike Place Market, going to the parade and then to an Irish pub for St. Patricks Day.  Lots of fun! Flying home sleep deprived and slightly hungover...not so fun.

This last weekend was fun too. Went to the Barn Dance with Molly.  Good music, lots of people. Too many drunk people invading my bubble...but Molly wanted to be up at the front by the stage...oh well. Saturday night was interesting. Went out with Kat to her ex-boyfriend's place (they are good friends) there were about 10 people there. Donnie's roomie is a pretty good bartender (kind of his hobby) so everyone who wanted a drink had one.  Then somehow we ended up going to Bucks...something about harrassing Donnie's ex...i dunno...they succeeded in their mission or something...  dancing and a few drinks later it was closing at the bar (2am) so we went back to Donnie's. Kat and Sam fell asleep on the couch a few times and they decided to go home, but i was wide awake so i stayed...plus Kat would not have been good to drive across town...she was too tired. Right around then another friend came over, Teach, he is a bartender at Bucks, cute cowboy type.  The guys decided to play Guitar Hero on the Xbox. I just layed on the couch and watched and picked songs for them to play. Then somewhere around 6am i got a ride home from Teach, he was suprised i like country and knew who the Warren Brothers were.  He gave me his number and invited me to Bucks wednesday night, they have country music night. Sunday was a little rough...i got about 3 hours of sleep before having to meet a friend to work on a presentation for class...had a little food...slept a few more hours and then had to meet a friend to shoot pictures for her graduation announcements. Then i went to bed really early.

Last night i convinced Molly and Shelly to go to Bucks, they both like country. Teach failed to warn me that there was going to be kareoke!  Some good singers, some terrible singers. Molly and Shelly sang one song, they did good. I did not sing! Tried to dance though. Teach even wore his cowboy hat that he wore Saturday night.  And we all requested music, mine was last on the list but Teach played it first  i caught hell from Molly and Shelly. Then Shelly's song got played, then another song i requested got played and then i told Teach that he had to play some Lonestar for Molly before she kills me. Teach played Molly's absolute favorite Lonestar song ever...and then Molly was happy.  Right before 11pm he played Copperhead Road because a bunch of girls wanted to line dance to it...I tried and failed miserably...it was too fast.  Then we called it a night because both Molly and Shelly had to get up early today.

Kat said that she will go to the Barn Dance on the 13th!  The guys are going and we are trying to convince a few more people to go!

Now im just killing time till i go home for the long weekend. Leaving around 6pm...and happy to be home for a long weekend!

Thats about all that has happened in the last few weeks!

Crazy weekends...huzzah!

So....two weekends ago was the Winter Lake Place Party at Teamsters in Fargo.

I invited my friend Kat to it and we went down on Saturday. Had sushi for lunch , i got a much needed haircut, did a lil shopping, had supper at my house, and then went to the party. It wasn't as fun as previous years, but it was still good. There was a good band playing. Dad was buying drinks  and Mom was out in Mandan for Gramma's birthday. So the night went on and Dad said he was going home...we weren't ready to leave so I talked to someone there and arranged a ride home....and then we ended up at the gay bar in Moorhead  ok...should prolly explain a little there...Kim (our ride home) had invited her friend and then someone got talking about going to the gay bar (kim's friend is gay) and Kim invited us. Kat and I decided it would be more fun than Teamsters cuz a lot of people were already leaving (plus its an old man bar). So we went to the gay bar, there were male dancers there. Then we ended up back at Teamsters because we had Kim's parents car. And then Jacques invited us to Lori's house...then proceeded to figure out a ride home, told Kim and all piled into Jacques car. Then way too much alcohol later and about 530am ended up at home. Followed by the hangover from Hell the next day. Good times were had by all.

Then there was Superbowl Sunday...hung out with Amanda at her new apartment and a bunch of people were over. Made my chip dip  it was delicious. A good time all around...except for the halftime show...that kinda sucked...oh well.

Then this weekend, Kat and I and three guys went to the Barn Dance in Arthur, ND. Yes, thats right a BARN dance!  A bit of a slow start before everyone was having fun, but it was still good. Forcing the boys to dance, laughing at both Kat's and my inability to swing dance or dance much for that fact, Ben and his air guitar skills...good times. And I quite enjoyed the ride to and from too...sammiched in the back seat between two guys...cant complain too much  But the night was over too fast  ok...so it was actually 3am when I got back to the dorm...but still too short...perhaps Kat can be convinced to go to more of them

And now im trying to think of a project proposal for Metals...and i have a huge mental block on anything remotely artistic  blah!

So thats the major events for the last couple weeks...stay tuned for more

So...Tim wants an update...i guess its been a while

Christmas break...good but happy to be back at school

I got Season 1 and 2 of House, M.D. then the week of my birthday i proceeded to watch them all back to back cuz im a geek like that...and had nothing better to do.

Hung out with my cousin Eric the first weekend of break, that was nice to catch up with him and we went to Pursuit of Happyness. Awesome movie! Then when we went out there for Christmas day, Eric, Sara, Laura, Andy (yes andy was there), and I went to Night at the Museum. Great movie, even if its Ben Stiller.

Laura and Andy are now engaged..... not sure how i feel about that yet...but its ok

Last weekend was great, Friday night i hung out with Kat and we went bowling with some of her friends and back to their apartment and watched 3 movies back to back.....everyone was a zombie by the end of it...but good times were had by all.  Then Saturday night i went to the hockey game with Kat cuz her parents have season tickets and werent using them that night. UND won 4-0 against University of Alaska Anchorage. It was the dirtiest hockey i have seen in a long time..."i went to a fight and a hockey game broke out"

Going to the hockey game this weekend too, against Bemiji State...not as exciting but it could be a good one. Maybe a movie on Friday...just have to see what happens...

Classes are alright but really boring. History and Systems of Psychology....absolute torture. Art History 2....even more torture. Metals...awesome. American Sign Language 4...great. Deaf Studies....fun. So i guess it all balances out.

Uummm.....thats about all....time for sleep  sleep? whats that?
